The ongoing Pakistan Super League always has been in the news for off the field controversial incidents along with some brilliant on-field action as well. During the Pakistan Super League match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf slapped his teammate Kamran Ghulam.
The incident happened in the second over of the game when a short ball from Haris Rauf took the top edge off the bat of Peshawar batsman Mohammed Haris . Haris Rauf dismissed Mohammad Haris when Fawad Ahmed took a catch on the fine leg boundary. Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars bowler Haris Rauf loses his cool as he slapped his team-mate Kamran Ghulam while celebrating his wicket.
Earlier, Ghulam had dropped Peshawar Zalmi’s Hazratullah Zazai catch when he attempted to work Haris Rauf’s full delivery away on the leg side and Rauf looked frustrated with the fielder. While, on the penultimate delivery of the very same over, Fawad Ahmed took a fine catch to send back Mohammad Haris back cheaply. However, Ghulam was seen smiling after getting hit but Rauf’s expressions were not the same.
Ghulam bounced back in the game as he executed a stunning run-out in the 17th over when he got the better of opposition skipper Wahab Riaz. Meanwhile, Qalandars have made their best ever finish in a PSL group stage and now have the cushion of an extra game in the playoffs. Qalandars kick-off the playoffs with a mouth-watering Qualifiers clash with the Sultans on Wednesday.
