Andre Russell dismissed in a bizarre run-out, video goes viral

The strangest dismissals in the sport’s history was happened in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Friday. Andre Russell was dismissed run-out while trying to take a single during the second match of the ongoing BPL between Minister Group Dhaka and the Khulna Tigers.

In the 15th over of the first innings, a weird was happened. Russsell nudged a slower delivery bowled by Perera towards Short Third Man and scampered through for a single. Mahmudallah on the other end, managed to complete the run with ease despite the fielder managing to hit the stumps at the striker’s end.

A throw from Khulna Tigers fielder, Mahedi Hassan hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end and removed Russell as he was swapping positions with his batting partner Mahmadullah.
