His bowling has been so effective that he has more than 300 T20 wickets to his name as well. However, recently, the all-rounder, who usually bowls medium pace, turned into an off-spinner in a T10 match. Nobody really expected this sort of an approach from Pollard. Though Pollard got the first wicket for his team. The video clip spread like wildfire on social media portals.

While, that was not the end of the drama between the two. A few balls later, when Pooran was at the non-striker’s end, Pollard the bowler, stopped midway through his run-up again, this time in an attempt to Mankad Pooran. What made things even more bizarre.

Meanwhile, Kings eventually posted a mammoth total of 150/3 in their allotted quota of 10 overs. The target proved to be too good for the Scorchers and they lost the match by 42 runs eventually by D/L method. Notably Kieron Pollard will soon be seen with the Mumbai Indians franchise in the upcoming season of the IPL. The all-rounder was retained by the franchise before the auctions.
