Virat Kohli gives a hilarious reply to Ravi Kumar when he asked about his weakness

India lifted a record-extending fifth ICC U19 World Cup title after defeating England in the final  att the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Saturday. However, former Indian captain Virat Kohli interacted with India’s U19 cricketers ahead of the u-19 World cup final.

BCCI had organized an online session of the team with former Team India captain Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, during the conversation U-19 fast bowler Ravi Kumar engaged in a fun bunter with former Indian captain Virat Kohli.  The young fast bowler Ravi Kumar had asked Virat Kohli about the latter’s weakness during the one-off session over a zoom video call. The former Indian captain Virat Kohli gave a hilarious reply to the question.

During this session, Ravi Kumar asked Virat Kohli , “What is your weakness ?” To which, Virat replied without wasting any time, “kyun abhi se out karne ki training kar raha hai kya (Why? Are you planning to get me out now only ?)”.

Ravi Kumar played a pivotal role in India’s four-wicket win at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Saturday where he picked four wickets for 34 runs in nine overs. The pacer scalped 10 wickets in six games. The young pacer after the U-19 World Cup victory said that the coaches told him to stick to basics and he exactly did that. “Coaches kept telling me to do the basics and not worry about the results. The plan was to maintain tight line and length. The ball was sticking a bit and wanted to bowl full to get some movement,” said Kumar.

‘Tu bas six count karna aaj mere’ – When Dinesh Bana slammed 170 in a Challenger Trophy

India U19 team created history after lifting the World Cup Trophy for the record fifth time at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Saturday. India are the most successful team at U19 World Cups, having won titles in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018 previously.

India wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Bana made the winning moment special for India as he completed India’s title win with a six. Coming in to bat after the fall of the 6th wicket, Bana upped the ante and remained unbeaten on 13 off just 5 balls. His cameo included 2 back-to-back sixes. His last six over long-on to give India their fifth title on Saturday. His shot reminded many of former India captain MS Dhoni’s six in the final of the 2011 World Cup final against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium.

However, Bana was not the first-choice keeper for the Indian side. In fact, during a Challenger Trophy match between India B and India F, Bana’s friend and teammate Nishant Sindhu told him that the selectors are coming to see him play. Bana told to Sindhu to just count the sixes that he hits. Interestingly
similar incident had happened with legendary keeper-batter Dhoni .

Bana’s knock of 170 contained 14 sixes and 10 fours and easily convinced the selectors to give him a chance. In hindsight, the move to back him proved out to be the correct one as he played quite a few cameos including in the summit clash where his six to finish off the match
