IND vs SL T20: Ravindra Jadeja does the famous Pushpa celebration

India’s all rounder Ravindra Jadeja made his comeback in international cricket against Sri Lanka in Lucknow. He overcame a knee injury and after proper rehabilitation came back into the Indian playing XI. And  India defeated Sri Lanka by 62 runs in the first T20I of the three-match series.

Notably, Ravindra Jadeja played his last international match in November 2021. Jadeja has been out of the team since playing the Kanpur Test match against New Zealand. Earlier, Batting first, India scored 199 runs for the loss of two wickets. However , Jadeja face 4 balls in batting. But, he was sensational with the ball in hand. Jadeja gave away just 28 runs from his quota of four overs and also took an important wicket of wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Chandimal

Ravindra Jadeja was introduced in the eighth over of the Sri Lankan innings. He went for nine runs in his first over with Dinesh Chandimal hitting him for six in the fourth delivery of his first over. He came back in the second over and dismissed Chandinal. The ball pitched on off-stump and turned sharply to miss his bat. Chandimal advanced to play the delivery but was beaten by the bounce and the turn.

The batsman couldn’t adjust for the extra turn and it turned big to beat the outside edge. It was one of the easiest stumpings for Ishan Kishan. However, after picking up the wicket of Dinesh Chandimal, Ravindra Jadeja did a Pushpa style celebration which has gone viral on social media.
