In the final league game of the tournament on Thursday India Maharajas locked horns against World Giants. The Indian side was in a must-win situation to make it to the final while the Giants had already qualified for the title clash.

India Maharajas looked set to chase down a 228 runs with a couple of balls to spare. However, Brett Lee delivered a terrific last over and defended 8 runs. Lee dismissed the dangerous Irfan Pathan in the first ball of the last over and then the game tilted in favour of the World Giants as they won the game by 5 runs.
