PAK vs AUS: David Warner entertains Rawalpindi crowd with his moves

The first Test between Australia and Pakistan ended in a dull draw as both sides lost points in ICC’s World Test Championship points table. They continue to lead the table, however, with the Aussies holding on to the top spot.

Meanwhile, on the final day of the Test match, Australia opener David Warner was seen entertaining the Rawalpindi crowd with his dance moves. On Tuesday, when the camera panned in on him during first Pakistan vs Australia Test, he was found breaking into an impromptu jig while fielding. The Australian was seen trying out multiple dance steps, one of which included the Punjabi bhangra.

The clip of his dance moves have once again won the hearts of netizens who have widely shared his clip. Even the Pakistan Cricket Board posted the video on their Twitter handel.

David Warner scored 68 runs in the first innings if the first Test match and he was involved in a 156-run stand with fellow opener Usman Khawaja. Meanwhile, Only 14 wickets fell during the test match. The pitch has received a lot of criticism from the cricket experts, for being slow and lifeless. Even for the fans, watching this historic match end in a draw was a disappointment.

AUS vs PAK: Warner’s savage reaction to heated Naeem Shah as Shah Tries To Sledge David Warner

Australia’s star opener David Warner is known for his flamboyant attitude on and off the field. His cool approach during the 3rd day’s play of the on going Rawalpindi Test match against Pakistan was one of the biggest talking points.

During the ongoing Pakistan vs Australia Test match, Warner was seen smiling, laughing, dancing, and enjoying every bit of the match. While Warner shared a few light moments with fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, the duo appreciated one another’s skills with the bat and ball respectively. However things weren’t just limited to being light-hearted on the part of Naseem Shah.

The 19-year-old Pakistani speedster put a target on Warner’s back during day three of the first Test as Australia tried to bat itself back into the contest in Rawalpindi. Naseem Shah, who was doing good against Warner, especially with the short ball on a few occasions, didn’t refrain from sledging the left-handed batter.

Shah turned to the short ball and eventually struck Warner who misjudged the bounce. Shah grabbed the opportunity to try and intimidate the batter, who is near twice his age, by walking right down the pitch to Warner. Naseem had some advice for David Warner, however, his attempt to intimidate Warner failed badly.

However, Warner just laughed and smiled at the teenage pacer’s effort to have a verbal duel with the veteran. The next ball dropped at the feet of Warner who scooped the ball up and placed it back in the hand of Shah, who was still heated. Warner gave him another smile and a pat on the shoulder before carrying on with his business.

Aakash Chopra reckons David Warner might not be the hottest pick at the IPL 2022 auction

IPL 2022 will be an exciting edition with the addition of two new teams and a mega auction ahead of the upcoming season. Lucknow and Ahmedabad are the two new teams to be added to the roster of the tournament in the 15th edition of the cash-rich league.

A total of 1214 cricketers, including 270 capped players, 312 uncapped players have registered for the mega auction. However former India opener Aakash Chopra doesn’t believe that all IPL franchises would go hammer and tongs for David Warner as the Australian opener lost his old mojo.

“The first name that comes to mind is David Warner. Warner will be expensive, he will be in demand. But I’ve heard that Lucknow (Lucknow Super Giants) were not even keen on him. We thought he would open with Rahul. Hyderabad let him go. I don’t think Chennai will even think about Warner. I’m not 100 percent certain that Mumbai will consider him,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

“I’m not saying he won’t be expensive. People will go after him. It could be Delhi, Punjab, or Ahmedabad for all we know. But I think his goodwill has taken a hit. He has scored a lot of runs, he’s a good player. But I don’t think anyone will look at him as a captain. As opener, he might fetch money but will he go for ₹15-16-17 crores? I don’t think so.” Chopra added.

Warner was previously associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad but things went awry in the last season as he was sacked from captaincy mid-season and eventually dropped from the XI. Also, his social media interactions pointed out that the relations between him and the franchise ended as sour.
