AUS vs PAK: Warner’s savage reaction to heated Naeem Shah as Shah Tries To Sledge David Warner

Australia’s star opener David Warner is known for his flamboyant attitude on and off the field. His cool approach during the 3rd day’s play of the on going Rawalpindi Test match against Pakistan was one of the biggest talking points.

During the ongoing Pakistan vs Australia Test match, Warner was seen smiling, laughing, dancing, and enjoying every bit of the match. While Warner shared a few light moments with fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, the duo appreciated one another’s skills with the bat and ball respectively. However things weren’t just limited to being light-hearted on the part of Naseem Shah.

The 19-year-old Pakistani speedster put a target on Warner’s back during day three of the first Test as Australia tried to bat itself back into the contest in Rawalpindi. Naseem Shah, who was doing good against Warner, especially with the short ball on a few occasions, didn’t refrain from sledging the left-handed batter.

Shah turned to the short ball and eventually struck Warner who misjudged the bounce. Shah grabbed the opportunity to try and intimidate the batter, who is near twice his age, by walking right down the pitch to Warner. Naseem had some advice for David Warner, however, his attempt to intimidate Warner failed badly.

However, Warner just laughed and smiled at the teenage pacer’s effort to have a verbal duel with the veteran. The next ball dropped at the feet of Warner who scooped the ball up and placed it back in the hand of Shah, who was still heated. Warner gave him another smile and a pat on the shoulder before carrying on with his business.

Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, who has alleged that he was intimidated by a journalist for not giving an interview, on Saturday said he has revealed all the details to a BCCI committee probing the matter.

A three-member committee met Saha here on Saturday to probe into the 37-year-old’s allegations against the unnamed journalist. ”I have told the committee everything I know. I have shared all the details with them. I can’t tell you much right now. However in the evening, Indian journalist Boria Majumdar in a Twitter video identified himself as the one accused by Saha. Boria goes on to accuse the senior India wicketkeeper of tampering the WhatsApp chats that he had made posted after not being picked for the Tests against Sri Lanka.

“There are always two sides to the story. @Wriddhipops has modified and tampered with screenshots of my WhatsApp chat that undermine my reputation and credibility. I asked @BCCI for a fair hearing. My lawyer has notified @Wriddhipops of defamation. The truth wins, “Majumudar tweeted.

“I’m filing a defamation case on Wriddhiman Saha. He has doctored, tampered and manipulated screenshots. Earlier today, I have sent the BCCI all the details and I have emailed everybody in the BCCI the entire sequence of events. I have also tweeted my side of the story,”  Boria Majumdar said.

Earlier, on February 19 Wriddhiman Saha posted a screenshot with the caption reading: “After all of my contributions to Indian cricket..this is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone.”

IND vs SL: Sri Lanka makes comedy of errors, Mohammed Shami survives run out scare

A hilarious incident took place on Day 2 of the first match of the two-match Test series between Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Dimuth Karunaratne-led Sri Lanka National Cricket Team at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium.

Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami were involved in one of the most hilarious mix-ups during the second day of the ongoing first Test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali. The incident took place in the 125th over of India’s innings, which was bowled by Sri Lanka left-arm pacer Vishwa Fernando, and when all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was batting along with pacer Mohammed Shami.

Ravindra Jadeja was on strike as he played the ball with soft hands towards the mid-wicket region for a single and then both looked interested for a double. Jadeja called for a double but pulled back the next second. However, Shami had almost reached the non-striker’s end by then. However, the calling between the two players was not great as Jadeja called Shami for the second run but in the middle of the run started running back towards the bowler’s end.

Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja were seen running towards the same end which was expected to end in a run-out. Pacer Vishwa Fernando missed the action that took place between Jadeja and Shami and he collected the throw and knocked the stumps at his own end and the Sri Lanka wicket-keeper kept waiting for the ball to come towards his end. There was still lot of time to get the throw back to wicketkeeper, it was too late before Fernando realized what was going between the 22 yards.

IND vs SL : Virat Kohli’s Fan Prediction About His Score On His 100th Test Goes Viral

Former India captain Virat Kohli reached his 100th test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali. Kohli becomes the twelfth cricketer in the history of cricket to represent India in 100 test matches, however, a tweet predicting his accurate score and dismissal has gone viral on the internet.

Virat Kohli was able to score 45 runs off 76 balls in the first innings of his 100th Test cricket match and his innings consisted of 5 amazing fours. He looked in fine touch and played some great shots en route to his 45-run knock but failed to convert his start into a big score once again. He was dismissed  by Lasith Embuldeniya.

Meanwhile a tweet by a fan is going viral for it’s unbelievable similarity to what happened today on the field. The tweet predicted that Kohli will get out on 45(100) against Lasith Embuldeniya and the dismissal will be clean bold. The user also mentioned that Kohli will have a shocking face. The exact same thing happened on the ground.

“Kohli won’t score a 100 in his 100th test. Will score 45 (100) with 4 gorgeous cover drives and then Embuldeniya will knock his stumps over and he’ll pretend to be shocked and will nod his head in disappointment,” the Twitter user wrote at 12:46 AM on Friday. As the prediction turned out to be true, the tweet went viral with several fans reacting to it.

This was the rarest of rare sporting predictions to come true with such unerring precision. The only part where the fangirl got slightly wrong is that Kohli didn’t face 100 but 76 deliveries and struck 5 and not 4 boundaries in his innings.
